The thing I love most about being creative is that I’m always finding new ways to hone my skills and expand my creativity boundaries. Plus, when we’re working on these types of projects… it just doesn’t seem like work at all. – KD Mack

In 2014, Tony and KD Mack (K. Douglas MacRae) created a superhero named “UNITED” and a short film for the York Regional Police (Ontario, Canada) Community Resources unit. It involved not only creating the short film but also the suit that the hero would wear. They found themselves wandering the aisles of Walmart and Canadian Tire, picking out car mats, knee pads and a variety of cheap toys they would take apart and fasten to the suit. In the end, they had a great success on their hands. In 2019 Tony and KD, along with their good friend Sean Williams (visual effects expert), were awarded the Herbert H. Carnegie award for the film and their work on the UNITED initiative.
