I love the connection we have with animals. In fact, I sometimes prefer the company of dogs over some people I know. During my travels, I’ve come across some very interesting personalities in animals. Each one is distinctly different from the other, just like people but without all the drama. – KD Mack

Being around animals (the kind that aren’t trying to eat you) lowers our stress levels and improves our overall mental health. Pets can help us normalise our brain chemistry, decrease feelings of loneliness and can even help us live longer when compared to those who have no pets.
